What do you consider as public health?

We use the World Health Organization’s definition. We would only want job adverts related to this to be advertised. If you are unsure whether your job advert would be suitable please contact us. If we believe a job that has been posted is not in the remit of public health we will remove the job advert and refund any payments.

What methods of payment do you accept?

We currently accept payments via stripe. If you are unable to use either of these, please get in touch.

We are not a UK organisation. Can we use your website to advertise?

Yes Publichealthjobs.co.uk advertise job vacancies from around the world.

How can I improve the response to my job advert?

You can increase the online presence of your job advert on publichealthjobs.co.uk by:

  • Adding your logo and branded header to stand out
  • Add in a video to show what life is like working at your organisation
  • Include keywords that a job seeker may search for
  • …get in touch if there’s anything unique you would like to try

Can I self-submit my job advert?

Yes, create an online recruiter account and you’ll be able to submit your job advert. Soon after your job advert will appear on the website.

Is there anything we need to do before submitting a job advert?

Before placing an advert with us, please take a moment to consider whether your job advert is related to public health. Secondly, please ensure your advert does not include any direct or indirect discriminatory text. The Equality Act 2010 renders unlawful discrimination on the grounds of 9 protected characteristics – age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage/civil partnership, pregnancy/maternity, race, religion or belief, sex and sexual orientation.

My job advert needs an amendment – what do I need to do?

We are happy to amend adverts. Email the amended copy text to [email protected] with ‘AMENDMENT’ in the subject line. Amendments to adverts are free of charge.

I want to withdraw my job advert - can I get a refund?

Once the job advert is placed and paid for we are unable to offer refunds.

Is it possible to use tracking links?

Yes. You are in control of this when submitting your job advert and when linking to your application page, this can be a tracking link.

Do you have an option to manage our job applications?

Yes, if you do not want to redirect an applicant to another site you can ask for a CV and covering letter to be sent through the publichealthjobs site. You will then be informed every time someone applies for a job and can manage your potential candidates online.
