Two consultant public health medicine/specialist public health posts in within the Public Health Directorate of NHS GGC.
These posts will have responsibility for developing, implementing and delivering national, regional and local policies, developing inter-agency and interdisciplinary strategic plans and programmes and delivering key public health objectives in the areas of health services.
Applications are invited from Public Health Doctors who hold full General Medical Council (GMC) registration, and who are included in the GMC Specialist Register (Public Health Medicine) or are eligible for such inclusion within six months of the interview date. Applications are also invited from Public Health specialists who hold a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Public Health, are on the Voluntary Register (Public Health), or are eligible for such inclusion within six months of the interview date.
