£73,876 – 77,285 per annum (pro rata for less than full time)
Band SM3C
Full Time (part time applicants will also be considered)
36.25hrs per week
Fixed Term for 12mths from commencement

Trafford Council is recruiting for a Consultant in Public Health. The applicant will be on the Faculty of Public Health Specialist Register or the UKPHR.  You will be a core member of the team and will lead on topics across the life course  such as falls , dementia, screening and immunisation, as well as work related to the current pandemic and on the integration of health and social care. There will be opportunities to adapt your work programme to meet your interests.    We are a small and very busy team so you will have ample opportunities to work across the full range of Public Health key areas, working in partnership with colleagues in the Council, the CCG and more widely. We are a training department, and would expect any successful candidate to be keen to be an educational supervisor.  This is a great opportunity to take on a high profile and valued role within the Council.  The post is based at Trafford Town Hall although currently you would spend much of your time working from home.
