Health Improvement Lead - Health Inequalities

Job description

The Hertfordshire Public Health Team is recruiting to a new role in its recently established Health Inequalities portfolio. This is an exciting opportunity to build a skilled and effective Health Inequalities team, developing and implementing a broad work programme. You will bring new ideas and shape the delivery of emerging projects as we begin the process of recovery from the Covid 19 pandemic.

You will have experience of working to reduce health inequalities in a local authority, public health or multi-agency setting and you will play an important role in developing the skills and knowledge of others about health inequalities. You will have access to a significant budget and the opportunity to deliver a high-profile programme of work. As part of the public health team, you will work in partnership with a range of local and national organisations to make a significant contribution to the health and quality of life of Hertfordshire’s residents.
