Health Improvement Officer

Job description

We are looking to recruit a number of passionate, experienced and motivated Health Improvement Officers to come and join our team and help to deliver the vision, working under the guidance of Principal Public Health Specialists:

5 x 18 month fixed term vacancies
1 x 9 month fixed term vacancy

The Health Improvement Officer role will involve working with staff, organisations, community groups and volunteers to raise the profile of Public Health and health inequalities, and to build Public Health capacity within the City of Wolverhampton. It will involve training, project planning and delivery, implementation of local policy, networking/partnership working, promoting evidence based practice and evaluation of health improvement initiatives.
