We are looking for Health Promotion Specilaists to work in our Lambeth, Southwark and Lewisham services, to support the efficient and effective delivery of health promotion services including an adult (18+) PrEP Promotion Service, ensuring the service is reaching target beneficiary groups and ensuring key messages are cascaded to the community through direct delivery and capacity building and increasing the knowledge and skills of professionals working within the community.
The successful applicants will be responsible for developing and maintaining effective blended outreach interventions, collaborative working partnerships with community organisations, community businesses and community champions in order to ensure the target beneficiary groups are benefiting from good sexual and reproductive health education, support and services. They will work with a wide range of target beneficiary groups including (but not limited to) LGBTQ communities, MSM, Black Africans and other BAME populations, refugees and those with learning difficulties.
We have a total of 7 days to fill, and would welcome applications from people wanting to work 22.5, 30 or 37.5 hours per week. We would particularly welcome applicants who have experience of working with BME communities and/or experience of PrEP promotion.
Please note - this role requires the successful applicant to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
