We are looking for an enthusiastic Health Protection Practitioner to join our busy Health Protection Team to support delivery of all the national vaccination programmes, including Covid; implementation of the Vaccination Transformation Programme and the delivery of national screening programmes. The post is primarily to support the Immunisation and Screening Co-ordinator in strategic planning, monitoring, evaluation and reporting; providing officer support to local meetings and attending national meetings remotely.
This contract is for a fixed-term until 30th June 2022 because we are currently reviewing staffing within the Public Health Team; however it is anticipated that this post will become substantive on a part time basis. If you wish to apply for this post as a secondment opportunity, you will need to discuss with your line manager before submitting an application.
