Project Officer - Public Health

SO2: Starting salary £34,689 per annum

Full time (35 hours per week)

1-year Fixed Term Contract or Secondment Opportunity

We are seeking an enthusiastic Project Officer to lead and support the development, delivery, and implementation on a variety of specific projects, programme developments and initiatives within Lambeth Public Health.

You will need to have knowledge of project management and an understanding of performance monitoring and reporting. Be able to provide effective administrative support to help deliver complex Public Health programmes and services.

A strategic thinker with a ‘can-do’ approach, you will develop a strong connection and understanding of Public Health principles and practice.

You will need the ability to maintain a strategic vision whilst keeping a grip on the detail, developing insight from data that will inform programme development and innovation.

You will be working in a challenging environment. A drive to work efficiently within a fast-paced environment is required. You will feel rewarded working together with people and communities to deliver practical solutions.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced individual to join our dynamic, energetic team, based in the public health team, at Lambeth Council.
