The Public Health team within Wokingham Borough Council is growing and we are looking for dynamic and motivated team player to come and join us. We are an ambitious team dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of local residents and staff, reducing avoidable differences in health and working to protect the health of residents. We are looking for applicants for a key Public Health role at Senior Programme Officer level (grade 9). This role requires a broad skill set and experience including: a working knowledge of the principles of epidemiology (data as applied to health and disease) and experience of commissioning local services and contract monitoring; implementing policy into local action; and working with multiple organisations.
