Job overview
Public Health Wales is seeking experienced and skilled Data Engineers who can help us on our journey to achieve our mission of protecting and improving the health and reducing health inequalities for the people of Wales. This includes working towards better data practices, more automated processing, analytical pipelines, and developing our overall data and technical maturity.
As a Data Engineer within Public Health Wales, you will work collaboratively with other technical specialists (including, but not limited to, developers, database administrators, data analysts and scientists) on the development, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of robust, efficient, secure, and scalable data infrastructure.
We are looking for someone who can champion the profession of data engineering, is committed to delivering continuous improvement, and will help drive the organisation towards its digital and data strategy.
