Main duties of the job

The post holder may coordinate and implement cross cover support to the WHO CC Directorate within Public Health Wales, provide and ensure the provision of appropriate support and advice to administration and clerical staff, senior managers and consultants. This is a key role to ensure efficient and effective support to the Directorate which includes preparing weekly, bi-weekly, monthly quarterly reports and management information, ensuring compliance across a number of areas in line with KPI's, policies and governance procedures.The post holder will also be required to provide high level support to projects including contracts management, procurement functions including tender specifications and undertake business support tasks. The post holder will also be required to support the delivery against the long-term strategy, and this will include undertaking a support role at a strategic priority support meeting.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
