Chief Executive Officer
37 Hours per week (1.0 FTE); hybrid working
Salary: £60-65k per annum plus extensive reward package
** **Our well-respected charity has a big history supporting young people in the city: from wellbeing to employability; career development in schools to social prescribing in communities, our services stretch across the city and (sometimes) South Yorkshire.
Our current CEO retires in December this year and we are looking for someone to pick up the reigns of our charity and continue with our transformation. The successful candidate will have extensive experience of leadership in the third or public sector, ideally in a young people focused environment though we are very open minded about the professional background.
Most importantly, our new CEO will be committed to supporting some of the most vulnerable young people in Sheffield; will understand the financial pressures charities are currently facing and be clear sighted about how to overcome them; will be sympathetic to the heritage of our charity, learning and building on the past whilst driving us on into new ways of working; and will have the drive and enthusiasm to take us into our next phase of development.
This role requires a basic DBS check.
Under the Disability Confident standard disabled applicants, who meet the essential criteria of this job, are guaranteed an interview. We recognise the positive value of diversity, promoting equity and celebrating inclusion. We welcome and encourage job applications from people of all backgrounds.
Closing Date: Noon, Friday 21st July 2023
