Data and Product Lead- London or Leeds

Job description

It’s what binds us together and drives us forward.The Behaviour Change Digital and Data team at the department’s Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID) is renowned for creating digital products that encourage healthy behavioural change, and right now we’re looking for a visionary Data and Product Lead.

Join us and you’ll develop and drive the analytics and reporting capabilities within OHID, and contribute to insights, product development and evaluation across the digital portfolio.

You’ll play a pivotal role as we work to be a leader in digital public health, and ensure that OHID programmes are reported on in a timely and accurate manner to facilitate data driven actions and decisions.

Taking responsibility for the implementation of customer profiles and logged in experiences, you’ll also develop a product and data plan for implementing this shift to align with the NHS digital ecosystem.

Your additional responsibilities will be many and varied, and include driving product insight, development and evaluation, and working closely with colleagues to coordinate workstreams across multiple project teams.

To be a success in this role you’ll have wide-ranging experience of data analysis and product development tools such as Confluence, Jira, Python and SQL, the ability to work with non-relation databases such as Big Query, and some knowledge of GA, Firebase, cookieless tagging solutions, AWS, Web-analytics, and IBM Cloudant.

You’ll also be capable of developing highly engaging digital campaigns and products in Agile, and possess the ability to design and oversee large-scale multi-faceted measurement and analysis projects.

A track record of developing and leveraging user-level and event-based databases is essential, as is knowledge of best practice data and analysis techniques and how they can be applied to generate response or behaviour change.

Excellent relationship management skills are also important, as is demonstrable knowledge of the industry, media and wider communication and marketing landscape.
