Data Manager in Population Health

Job description

Duties and responsibilities

You will identify and collate high-quality data on population health together with worldwide academic and policy collaborators
You will lead on the communication with collaborators regarding data and other project-related matters
You will systematically check data sources and their content for measures of quality and record relevant meta-data for each data source
You will manage, using R, databases consisting of a large number of heterogeneous data sources
You will extract, organise and harmonise data for statistical analysis, conduct analyses to reveal data quality / comparability issues, and adjust for data incomparability

Essential requirements

MSc (or equivalent) in epidemiology or a related subject
Experience in cleaning, managing, preparing and visualising large, multi-dimensional and heterogeneous datasets
Experience of programming and manipulating data in R
Ability to systematically and efficiently manage and manipulate large quantities of data with code
Experience with health / biomedical or demographic data, especially in population-based data
Experience in applying quantitative / statistical methods
