_Join IQVIA as an Epidemiologist in the Real-World Evidence and Methods Generation team and help us deliver high-quality scientific research to our clients in the global pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. _

We use available healthcare data to answer research questions such as "what is the extent of medical need and which treatments work for which patients in the real world?" Your primary responsibilities as an Epidemiologist in our team will be wide ranging, including:
Supporting the design, execution, and reporting of real-world database (RWD) studies, which includes protocol writing and generating study reports
Supporting the writing of proposals for RWD studies in response to client requests
Developing abstracts, manuscripts, or conference presentations for projects
Contributing to internal initiatives to adopt innovative methodology
To be successful in this role, you’ll be required to have:
Completed an MSc in epidemiology, public health or in a related discipline
Some experience in designing and executing (pharmaco-)epidemiological studies
Excellent time management skills
Ability to support multiple projects concurrently
Commitment to working collaboratively and effectively with people of other disciplines
Strong verbal communication and scientific writing skills, attention to detail and scientific rigour
High proficiency in English (spoken and written)
Desired Qualities
Completed a PhD or equivalent in epidemiology, public health or in a related discipline, and/or
1- or 2-years’ experience working in the healthcare and/or pharmaceutical industries and/or academia
Experience designing and executing secondary database studies using large, real-world healthcare databases
Publications in peer reviewed journals and/or abstracts in scientific conferences

This role is available in hybrid mode (approximately 1 day per week in the office, 4 days remote working)
