Camden Council are currently seeking a Finance Business Partner (Commissioning and Public Health) to join the team. Responsibilities include:

  • Provide strategic financial advice to the Adult Social Care, Commissioning and Public health senior leadership team.
  • Work closely with Heads of Service and budget holders to provide support during budget monitoring, budget setting and closing of accounts. o Provide support for colleagues within the public health directorate to ensure adequate reporting on the receipt and spend of the substantial public heath grant.
  • Play an integral role in the allocation, monitoring and reporting of services delivered in partnership with the local NHS.
  • Responsible for the line management of 2 staff members, and this includes providing guidance and support when required.
    Candidates must be CCAB (or equivalent) qualified and have a detailed understanding of Local Government Finance and financial techniques such as budgeting, monitoring, closing and options appraisal, as well as excellent influencing skills and have the ability to effectively communicate complex financial issues to different levels of the organisation.
