We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Health and Wellbeing Coach to join our Staff Wellbeing Programme working across Dorset. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with the appropriate skills, experience and qualifications to join a highly motivated, professional and committed team.
You will be working with Primary Care and Social Care staff to provide Health and Wellbeing coaching, support and advice to individuals and teams. We want to make sure that we do everything possible to support colleagues at a time when they might forget to look after themselves while prioritising others.
Our Wellbeing Team has coaches and clinicians with a spectrum of offers, ranging from psychoeducation, menopause support, mindfulness and wellbeing coaching, to team support.
This particular post will focus on providing health and wellbeing support to staff within GP Practises and Care Homes across Dorset, via both 1:1 and group sessions, in person and virtually. You will use your health coaching skills to support individuals to develop their knowledge, skills and confidence to manage their own health and wellbeing, to improve their health outcomes and quality of life. You will take an approach that considers the whole person working closely with other colleagues within the team. Your approach will be non-judgemental, based on strong communication and negotiation skills, that supports personal choice.
Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. The Trust will cover this cost.
Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service and are able to present a valid DBS certificate will not incur a charge.
