Salary Range: £35,745 pa progressing to £39,880 pa
Hours: 37 per week

This is an exciting opportunity, within Public Health to support the County Council and its key partners to develop services for adults with drug and alcohol concerns, families and communities
The Public Health team is seeking to recruit a highly motivated Health Improvement Co-ordinator to support the Health Improvement Lead in Drugs and Alcohol with a primary focus around the Prevention and Early Help agenda for those impacted by drugs and alcohol. However, you will also support other related workstreams in relation to the Hertfordshire Drug and Alcohol Strategy such as reducing drug and alcohol related deaths and reducing health inequalities
We’re looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference to the lives of Hertfordshire resident. Ideally, you will have a strong background in working in substance misuse or mental health provision, experience of developing and implementing health improvement projects, experience in commissioning services, experience of partnership working (NHS, Voluntary and community sector, police and other statutory bodies) and some knowledge around data analysis to identify trends and issues to inform our future delivery/commissioning plans.
