Job Title: Health Improvement Co-ordinator - Mental Health & Suicide Prevent
Salary Range: £35,745 pa progressing to £39,880 pa
Hours: 37 per week
Contract: Fixed Term/Secondment until end of April 2023

This is a fixed term appointment or secondment opportunity for someone wishing to make an important contribution to mental health prevention and zero suicides in partnership with our communities and services. You will have the opportunity to challenge your existing skills set and develop professionally in a supportive, inclusive, and engaging public health environment.
We’re looking for someone with a knowledge of the principles and practice of public health, ideally around mental health, who is passionate about making a difference to the lives of Hertfordshire residents. We want someone who likes trying out new ideas and bringing about meaningful and positive change to help others.
You’ll support the work of the Health Improvement Lead by developing and implementing health improvement projects, plans, and by reviewing outcomes. This will include working on multiple projects simultaneously, so you’ll be familiar with project management principles as well as confident to engage with a wide range of stakeholders (NHS, Voluntary and community sector, Police, and other statutory bodies). You’ll have excellent written and verbal communication skills including report writing and giving presentations to multiple and diverse audiences that includes being a competent user of Microsoft Office applications.
