Joining our friendly and supportive Health Checks Team, you can advance your career in Public Health whilst playing a key role in preventing ill health and addressing health inequalities in our communities. We are part of the wider Hampshire and Isle of Wight Public Health Team who enjoy the challenge of working innovatively to ensure continuous improvement of public health initiatives and driving them through to completion.
Working closely with primary care across Hampshire, youll provide leadership to and support the delivery of the NHS Health Checks Programme with the aim of increasing invites and uptake, reducing inequalities and improving the quality of checks. With a passion for preventing ill health at an early stage and improving the quality of health checks, youll use your excellent relationship building and communication skills to deliver impactful MECC training and work effectively with a wide variety of partners.
This is a brand new role giving you the opportunity to put your own stamp on it, whilst working autonomously and travelling across Hampshire to work with practices. Relevant experience of working in or with general practice settings, including using primary care data systems, and knowledge of the NHS Health Checks programme is essential.
