Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic projects and improvements manager to join the Women’s Health at Kings College NHS Foundation Trust. We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and dynamic individual with a proven record of delivering transformational change; the successful candidate will be responsible for leading and coordinating our improvement programme from both a project management an organisational development perspective.
The post holder will play a key part in the development of the collaborative working as part of the dynamic transformation programme supporting both outpatients and maternity services.
As an expert in leading and implementing complex programmes of work, with a track record in clinical engagement and service improvement, the post holder, working closely with the General Manager, Clinical Director and Director of Midwifery to lead and manage the improvement programme in line with Trust strategy, values and culture.

Main duties of the job

Key responsibilities will include:

Responsible for the delivery of specific projects agreed with Women’s Health Care Group and provide subject matter expertise around project

Plans, supports and facilitates a range of projects within a programme structure or across a range of programme structures, where the post holder may need to consider interdependencies and mitigation of issues and

Be a champion for best practice, learning from experience and from others, supporting the spread of innovation within Women’s Health Care Group

The post holder will be responsible for managing a team of administrative staff as directed by the general manager.
