It seeks to improve and protect the health of the population through collating and presenting the views of DsPH; advising on public health policy and legislation at a local, regional, national and international level; facilitating a support network for DsPH; and providing opportunities for DsPH to develop professional practice.
The Association has a rich heritage, its origins dating back more than 160 years. It is a collaborative organisation working in partnership with others to maximise the voice for public health.
We are now looking to employ to the full-time permanent position of Project Coordinator for our Practice Improvement programme. The successful candidate will coordinate and administer meetings, lead on smaller projects and also work across the Association’s Policy, Communications and Membership Engagement teams to ensure delivery of its work programmes as required.
Working with the Practice Improvement Manager you will develop and maintain the national practice improvement activity portfolio and gain an understanding of Public Health practice improvement programme elements and tools.
Candidates must be comfortable working independently in an administrative role and have experience of project and event management (administration), and you will be encouraged to grow and develop professionally in your new role by our supportive, experienced, and friendly team.
The Association supports hybrid working, compressed hours (the 9 day fortnight) and candidates from outside of London are welcome, but some attendance at the London office will be required through the year. Should you require further information on any of these please contact Mark Hamblett via the enquiries at email address.
All applications must include a covering letter outlining your suitability for the role as well as a current CV to be considered for the position.
The closing date for applications is 9.00 a.m. October 9th, however we do reserve the right to close the application process early should a suitable candidate be available and would therefore urge those interested to apply asap.
