This role sits as part of our in-house Occupational Health team, working with colleagues in OH and stakeholders across the Service to deliver its mental wellbeing strategy. You will ensure appropriate provision and interventions to support positive mental wellbeing, with a particular focus on developing and implementing successful preventative measures, including supporting colleagues to take proactive personal responsibility for their mental health and wellbeing.
Salary: £32,909 - £34,723 pa, pro rata
Hours: 22.5 hours – 3 days per week

Location: Huntingdon / Hybrid Working

We will look to you to have the following:
Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner qualification (or comparable qualification)
Knowledge and understanding of both the individual and organisational impact created by focusing on positive mental health and wellbeing in the workplace
Knowledge and understanding of current and emerging best practice in the field of mental health and wellbeing in the workplace including knowledge of the different value brought by preventative and reactive measures and up to date knowledge of relevant legislative background.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the emotional intelligence to be able to quickly build effective and credible working relationships (internally and externally) and draw the confidence of stakeholders at all levels.
Able to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders, drawing together varying views ideas and perspectives into meaningful agreed plans of action. Ability to engage the appropriate internal or external resources in order to make progress.
Able to consult with, coach, inspire & advise leaders and employees on issues relating to mental health and wellbeing in the workplace, and to influence stakeholders as appropriate without diminishing their views ideas and perspectives.
Able to work under pressure in a complex and sometimes emotionally demanding role. Proactively and positively looks after own mental health and wellbeing in order to both maintain personal and professional resilience in the workplace, and to role-model to others the need to and value of being mentally healthy and well at work.
Experience of providing interventions as a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner
Experience of marketing and targeting techniques to publicise mental health and wellbeing services and initiatives in the workplace, to facilitate increased awareness and usage within an organisation.
