This is a fixed term role (18 months) reporting jointly to the Director of Public Health and Director of Integrated Commissioning.
The purpose of this role is to provide robust programme management to the Public Health and Integrated Commissioning Programmes. These encompass a combined budget of over £50m including prevention, early intervention, living well, ageing well, carers, information support, homecare, and hostel programmes. The postholder will provide the programme management oversight, infrastructure, and alignment of processes to ensure that there is robust oversight and strong grip on initiation, implementation, budget management, efficiency, and monitoring of programmes.
The role requires significant experience of project and programme delivery across multiple organisation and disciplines. Professional qualifications or equivalent related to programme management are required.
