Public Health Drug and Alcohol Strategic Commissioner.

Job description

As strategic commissioner you will be in a senior manager post, responsible for leading our commissioning response for drug and alcohol prevention, treatment and recovery services. You will also take a lead role in the delivery of the Shropshire Substance Misuse Strategy and the Shropshire Community Safeguarding Partnership, in particular the Tackling Drugs and Alcohol Partnership Business Plan
. This will involve providing leadership for change and transformation programmes and developing whole system working and relationships with a wide range of partners and stakeholders including voluntary organisations, the criminal justice system, the NHS, the integrated care board and people with lived experience. You will have a small team to support the work so will have an opportunity to develop, supervise, manage and support others in order to achieve our aims and develop their future careers.
