We are seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and highly motivated Public Health Intelligence Specialist to work in our Strategic Planning Team, aiming to improve health and wellbeing outcomes for the people of Stockton-on-Tees Borough and help address health inequalities.
The post will provide specialist data and intelligence collection, analysis and interpretation capacity to the team, in the context of Public Health policy and practice. The post-holder will oversee other posts in the team and provide specialist intelligence support to the design, implementation and evaluation of Public Health programmes and services, including working with the CCG, other Local Authority teams and wider partners.
The post-holder will also be expected to work closely with all team colleagues. You will need significant demonstrable specialist Public Health Intelligence experience and knowledge and possess excellent interpersonal skills. You will also need to be educated to degree level, or have the equivalent directly relevant work experience.
