Public Health Officer

he Children and Young People's Commissioning Team in Public Health are seeking an experienced Public Health Officer to support the commissioning of services and implementation of wider projects. 
The post holder needs to have a clear understanding of public health, service commissioning and project implementation. The role will be varied and the post holder will support senior staff and also hold the day to day commissioning and oversight responsibility of some of the smaller contracts and projects.
It is an exciting time within Children and Young People's services in Norfolk and there are opportunities for the right person to gain support in this role and further develop their commissioning, project management and wider public health expertise and experience.
The Children and Young People's Team works dynamically with partners, providers and colleagues to support improving children's public health and reduce inequalities. We work flexibly across our portfolios to support this.
