Public Health Practitioner (Addictons)

Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Liverpool City Council. We are looking to recruit two Public Health Practitioner (Addictions) to join our Public Health Team. If you are interested, we would love to hear from you.
These post are fixed term until 31 March 2025 these posts will strengthen the co-ordination and commissioning and grant reporting functions within Public Health and to meet current and future challenges.
The post holder will provide commissioning and programme support relating to addictions (drugs/alcohol) to improve heath and reduce inequalities and harms across Liverpool.
We are seeking a dynamic individual to be a member of the Public Health Team. The post will provide an opportunity for people who already have significant experience in working in or commissioning drug and alcohol treatment services and are interested in applying their skills in public health. Secondment opportunities will be considered.
