We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is passionate about public health to join our Public Health Team. The successful candidate will lead on both all age Mental Health and Wellbeing and Suicide Prevention, providing support to key partnerships to deliver health and wellbeing priorities for Cheshire West and Chester residents. The post holder will work closely with the Council’s Health and Wellbeing, and Communities, Environment and Economy Directorates, NHS Cheshire and Merseyside, Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID), UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA), and NHS England.
With knowledge of the emerging Public Health agenda, the successful candidate will need to be a flexible, innovative individual, who can work to tight deadlines. Partnership working, strategy development and service improvement skills are essential, as is the ability to encourage and influence others. The contractual work location for this role is listed above. However, as this is a fully agile post the ability to travel across the Borough for essential meetings that cannot be held remotely is required.
