An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, highly motivated and dedicated individual to join the public health team at Bradford council to lead our work and deliver positive change on alcohol harm reduction. As a Public Health Specialist, you will be a key member of the team, and play a vital role in designing, implementing, and evaluating evidence-based initiatives aimed at reducing the harmful effects of alcohol consumption on individuals, families and communities. Key areas of work include: assessing and analysing data and information to understand local need and gaps; developing comprehensive evidence based alcohol harm reduction programs and plans; designing and leading alcohol harm reduction initiatives; monitoring and evaluating the impact of initiatives, supporting best practice across systems; collaborating and problem solving across a range of partners and stakeholders; ensuring that that the voice of those with lived experience voice is central to decision making.
