Bowel Screening Wales is one of the adult screening programmes delivered by the Screening Division of Public Health Wales and is responsible for the provision of the bowel screening programme to the eligible population aged between 55-74 years old in Wales.
This is an exciting opportunity to develop skills, knowledge and experience of public health and screening services. The Regional Nurse (Professional Standards) will be a member of the Bowel Screening Wales nursing team providing professional leadership for bowel screening regional teams in Wales. We are looking for someone with drive and enthusiasm who will be a visible point of contact and support local teams to develop and improve services for the local population.
You will play a key role in developing and delivering national training programmes and contributing to the development of national policy. You will also monitor risk and programme performance within region of responsibility and drive forward improvements as a result of service user feedback. If you are a highly motivated, qualified nurse with experience and knowledge of clinical governance, service improvement and performance management we are keen to hear from you.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post, English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
