Like working with families? – Get paid to train
This is a fantastic opportunity for nurses that enjoy working with children and families, and are passionate about their health and wellbeing. We're looking for people to join us from December 2023 as band five student specialist community public health nurses (SCPHN) with a view to starting a 12-month training programme in January 2024. We provide an excellent learning environment supported by practice supervisors and assessors who will support you to become fully qualified with the University of Greenwhich; all while being employed as a vital part of our friendly and professional team helping children to have the best possible start in life.
You'll be paid throughout your training and on successful completion you’ll become a fully qualified band 6 SCPHN with a specialism in Health Visiting and lots of with opportunities to progress your career even further. We work in partnership with local services, children’s centres and GPs on a challenging and rewarding caseload, and we strongly encourage creativity and new ideas.
We currently have vacancies in Gravesend and Seven Oaks and Swanley
Following completion of the training we would welcome flexible working arrangements at a base to suit you, and can offer a generous re-location package to the right candidates.
Find out more from our colleagues on how much they love the SCPHN role and the benefits of working at Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust.
