Senior Clinical Lecturer in Public Health

We are seeking to appoint a full-time Senior ClinicalLecturer in Public Health to join the Department of Public Health, Policy andSystems at the University of Liverpool. The Department is based in theInstitute of Population Health and has a world-leading reputation for policy-relevant health inequalities research across a wide range of PublicHealth topics of national and global relevance.
This is an opportunity for an emerging research leader, to join an energetic and thriving Department, developing innovative research that leads to action to improve population health and reduce health inequalities. The department has strong links with international, national and local public health policymakers and practitioners through its role as a World Health Organisation (WHO)Collaborating Centre, through collaborations and advisory roles, and through a network of local authorities and NHS organisations. You will contribute to an internationally competitive research programme as well as provide leadership and academic support for local, national and international public health policy and practice.
This post is a permanent position, open to fully qualified applicants with Clinical or Specialist Register training in PublicHealth. The successful applicant will be expected to carry out the normal duties of a University Senior lecturer in research, teaching, and administration, and to take on a public health service commitment with enthusiasm.
