An exciting opportunity has arisen for the a Senior Information Analyst post within the Directorate of Public Health in NHS Lanarkshire.
We are seeking enthusiastic and proactive individuals to join the NHSL Directorate of Public Health as a key members of the Surveillance team. The post holder will:
Work across a range of topic areas including health protection, healthcare public health and health inequalities.Analyse and interpret a variety of complex data sets, this will require the post holder to be confident in a range of packages including the R-programme package.Contribute to the development of datasets and information systems, ensuring robust data quality and validation processesCommunicate technical information to a range of audiences both verbally and in written reports using data visualisation techniquesSupport other members of the team in the analysis and interpretation of the dataBe flexible and able to respond to evolving situations and outbreaksApplications will be welcomed by those wishing to work full time or part-time and working hours will be negotiableNHS Lanarkshire

Please note this is a fixed term post until the end of March 2024. Where a post only has temporary funding and an existing member of NHS Lanarkshire staff wishes to apply, this will be treated as a secondment. The employee MUST already have written agreement from their line manager to be released on a secondment before applying for the post.
Location and Working Pattern
This role will be based in Kirklands - NHSL Headquarters.
The working pattern for this role Monday - Friday.
