Senior Information Analyst Public Health and Planning

Information Services for NHS Forth Valley have an opportunity for dynamic and enthusiastic individuals to join the Information Services Team, which provides a comprehensive information service to NHS Forth Valley.
This exciting post will support our Public Health and Planning Departments in the delivery of Boards objectives in terms of planning and delivering equitable healthcare for the residents of NHS Forth Valley. Working with the principal analysts and aligned to Public Health and Planning you will be leading on information developments and providing technical advice and solutions to business users within the Health Board and Health and Social Care Partners. As a technical specialist within Information Services, you will manage and maintain information databases and reporting mechanisms, requiring knowledge of database design, maintenance and creation of online reporting solutions and automation of statistical reports.
A highly numerate graduate, or equivalent, you will have significant relevant experience in health-related IT or information work and you will have experience of SQL, Excel and other data programming tools and be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and experience of team working.
