An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Senior Project Manager to join the Strategy and Planning Division within Public Health Wales on a fixed term basis.
We're looking for someone with a strong background in project management to work with our Finance Division to deliver a key project of work.
You'll need to work independently, managing stakeholder relations, timescales and ensuring the project is appropriately defined and executed. We'll be looking to adopt an Agile approach so experience in this area is desirable.

You'll primarily be working with our Finance Division's Value and Performance Team as a senior project manager developing the organisation's approach to performance management. You'll also be developing the PMOs approach to Benefits Realisation.
You'll lead the performance management project with the Finance Division from start to finish, ensuring robust systems are in place and identifying measures for success. Working independently, you'll work with stakeholders across the organisation to deliver the project successfully.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to strengthen their skills in this area during a fixed time period.
Together, our teams work to prevent disease, protect health, and provide leadership, specialist services and public health expertise. We are the main source of public health information, research and innovation in Wales.
