Social Prescribing Service Manager

Job description

RedbridgeCVS is looking for a compassionate, organised and experienced manager with excellent communication skills to support the day to day operations of our busy social prescription service.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing and developing a dedicated and committed team of advisors and buddies who work closely with local people to support them to reach their personal goals. Ideally you will have experience of supporting people holistically through complex situations.
You will work with voluntary and statutory sector partners across Redbridge to ensure a joined-up and coordinated approach to referrals and will build an extensive knowledge of local service provision in the borough. You will also work closely with the Social Prescribing Network Manager to link into the local social prescribing eco-system.
You will support the Social Prescribing Programme Manager with their strategic planning through reporting with data and insights backed by a detailed understanding of operational success and challenge.
The ideal candidate will be a great networker with excellent interpersonal skills and a supportive and intuitive manager joining our well established and experienced team. 
Please note that this role is 35 hours a week, working in the RCVS office or out in the community.
