Southend Council are looking to appoint a Stop Smoking Administrator in a fixed term capacity until 30/09/2024.
The hours for this position are 15, they are flexible.
This position will help to provide a business support function for the Public Health Stop Smoking Service. With your help, you will enable officers to carry out their work effectively and professionally and ensure that they liaise effectively with other SCC departments/teams, external partner organisations, and the population of Southend.
You will not only be dealing with standard administration tasks using the Quit Manager platform, but also producing reports, completing spreadsheets and budgets.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this position you need to be able to work 15hrs per week and have previous experience within health, social care or a public health environment.
You need to have the ability to undertake administration duties to support the delivery of the Stop Smoking Service. You must have previous experience and be competent in undertaking financial tasks and financial reporting against budgets and spend activity. Be able to produce reports, spreadsheets, correspondence, and other written/digital materials to a professional standard.
